A HEALTH REMIND FROM THE SCHOOLS INITIATIVE ON AIDS PREVENTION (SIAP)

🩺 Sexual Health Reminder of the Month – August 🩺

"Protect Your Health, Protect Your Future."

This month, remember:

✅ Use Protection Always: Condoms help prevent both unplanned pregnancies and STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections). Keep them with you, use them correctly every time.

✅ Get Tested Regularly: Even without symptoms, STIs like HIV, chlamydia, and gonorrhea can still spread and cause long-term health problems. Make testing a normal part of your routine—just like a dental check-up!

✅ Consent is Key: Sexual activity should always be mutual, clear, and respectful. If it's not a "yes," it's a no.

✅ Stay Informed: Know your body, learn about birth control options, and talk openly with trusted adults or health professionals if you have questions.

✅ Healthy Mind, Healthy Choices: Your mental well-being affects your decisions. Avoid peer pressure and make choices that align with your values and safety.

Take charge of your sexual health—it’s a vital part of your overall well-being. 💙
Let August be the month you take one healthy step forward!
